Chill out dude. It looks like leftover adhesive to me. Get some bug and tar remover or some goof-off and rub till it comes off. The rewax the area.

Where is the problem? Elbow grease, finger nails or wax will get rid of it. I used my nails then some wax to get the final film off.

nope, just regular wax that u'd use to wax your car. i used my finger to pick off the most that i can and then took some zymol to it and after a lil bit of elbow grease, it was gone.

no. i was tempted till i saw what was left behind. i guess i'll go at it with goo off on my lunch today...but i still say it looks like there's no clearcoat there...not just some film/residue.

All you need is somehting to break down that residue.... all it is is like glue..... I belive bug and tar removal will work.

Simple Green or Orange Blast will work just fine

I used 3M adhesive remover that I bought at Advanced Auto Parts for like 4 bucks...I also used the same stuff to take off my pin stripes.

Here's how mine looks. I still got the stock wheels on though so try not to laugh TOO hard.
