i am going to have enought money to get rims in a week and need to make a decision on 18's or 19's im going for performance and know that 19's arent the way to go but it wont make that big of a difference so why not, the deciding factor is: will i have to upgrade my brakes if i get 19's or can i leave to stock brake system for a while (6 months)? im thinking polished silver or chrome so they will weigh a little more than other rims.

nope, you don't have to upgrade your brakes but, you stock brakes will look pretty small in that big opening...hehe

in my opinion id go with the 19's. i decided to go with the 18's but if i had to choose again id go with the 19's because now i look at my car and the rims look small. it might be also that im not droped. :?

if you plan on going with 19's be prepared to shell out more cash in the future. remember 19 in tires cost more than 18 in tires and you have a very high probability that you will bend a rim. i drive extremely careful and have bent 3 rims so far.

i agree 19 inch tires are expensive and you are going to have to get 35s for tires if you get 18 you get 40s..i say go with 18s and drop your car...

how bad is the damage on the rim? as far as bending them i dont want to have to pay 600 or so every time i make a mistake and i plan on dropping it with or without 19's. i guess ill drop it with 18's but i dont know how much is the rear and front i want almost no room im between the fender and my tire.

i live in GA and dont go downtown very often so i dont think this will be happeneing to me the roads are very smooth exept for a couple of places and i will just avoid then all together once i get the rims. i go to NY and NJ often and those roads suck up there im guessing both of you go downtown or live somewhere where the roads suck. but thanks for the picks im getting 18's.
