I am soon going to have my KYB's installed... which is going to call for removing the springs i recently paid $400 to have installed... which in turn will probably cost me another $400 to have the shocks / struts installed...

Now, I am very pleased with the performance of the Eibach's but woudl really like it if the springs were about .5" lower than they sit currently...

I was happy with the ProKit drop as there were no front strut options for us, and anything lower than the 1.3" the Prokit gives would surely have blown the struts in little time....

So... what are the other choices for our 8G Galants as far as springs...? Please post pics with the Progress, with the amount of drop you got... as well as Intrax or any other names out there...

Are any of you guys using the Eibach Sportlines that are avaialbe for the 3G Eclipse...?

c'mon man... how about a daytime pic... https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

not sure, maybe it's your 35 series tire, but my wheel gap looks less than that with the Pro-Kit...

Do either of you guys know anyone with the SKunk2 coilovers? I"ve seen them around the web for about 350~400 for the set. Do they not need new shocks? Thanks.

I'm really surprised ChromeGalant that even with a drop that you were able to back up all the way to the curb in that top day time picture, lol.

Tiller, it's really hard to say that your ride will not be any lower WITH the KYB's versus stock. I think you have to do it to really find out where it's going to end up. It may be lower or it may even be higher.

BTW, burthold was talking about some performance issues when you do a drop of more than 2". It puts the suspension tolerances way out of factory spec. Sorry forgot which thread.
