Seriously, this site can be considered one of the best features that comes with a Galant. I am surprised that Mitsu doesn't marketed it a little better.

oh the modding has already begun. i removed the badges at the dealership and i'm going to clear out the head lights today as well as the air box mod (until i can pick up a cai). then next weekend i'll do the flip trunk mod (that's a slick trick when it's done right). then i think a set of coil overs and new wheels. does anyone know if a chamber correction kit is necessary for a 1" drop on a i4 galant?

Welcome... ahh I remember when my baby was fully stock..and then its 4x4 phase...those were the dayz..

1" drop?? Go lower! As far as the camber kit , Cars react different to the drop.. just gonna have to see..doing the flip trunk mod already?? I would do that until I had something in the trunk to show..

1" is enough for me. it especially enough considering they are always doing some type of construction. any one who's got a 2.5" drop knows what fun that can be. <grin> oh, and when i have something to show, my flip trunck mod will already be done. <big grin> ehy quick question to any one. i tried to clear my turn signals but i couldn't get the dam reflector to move even a bit with the screw drive. does anyone have any tips to make that easier. there's no way i'm leaving my turn signals yellow.

u can make a tool that get the reflector out..

bend it out of a flat piece of metal.

i found that way was the easiest.

good luck.

GET IT you be glad you did. The Galant is the most superb 4 door forign car you can buy that runs, looks bad ass. And I notice missouri tags. Where in missouri are you from?

To get your reflector out, you have to break the little tab at the bottom. This is easiest done by pressing a flathead screwdriver up against it and then turning slightly. Once the tab (perhaps 2 tabs, I forget) is gone, the plate will slide easily.

man, i looked at my last post and you can tell i was wasted! <grin> anyway, i'm not from missouri i'm from central illinois but i'm always in st. louis. that's where my booking agent is from and i spin there quite a bit. hey anyone in the st. louis area come on out to velvet next saturday night. charles feelgood is spinning and it's the "porn star's ball". <big grin> if you want to find me i'll be in the vip section most of the night. it's going to be a great party! oh, and yes there will be real porn stars there. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
