I saw that one a couple days ago. Pretty amazing what some old cars can do with the right parts and tuning.

You can get old Vr4 Galants to do 10s, rather easily if i recall right. Our cars would cost a bit to get close to 10s or 11s. we'd need slicks, NOS, other FI, major motor work. etc etc but it can be done. If 1.6L Civics can get to the 10s we sure as shit can too!

If youve got the money you couold have any car pushing major hp!! I could see a 4cyl Galant running 12's maybe 11's with a huge turbo or a big supercharger and some nos...and other major internalw ork and weight reduction!!! Again its all about how much money you want to spend.

Or learn to really DIY, welder and all

the K car didnt use NOS to get the 10's, just pure bute turbo, and upgraded internals, but a suck ass old ecu- fooled by larger injectors.

well, forged pistons, forged rods, ported and polished head, p&p intake manifold, p&p turbo housing, 18G Turbo, FMIC, Larger Injectors, Haltech Engine Management System, custom downpipe, cat-back exhaust, S-AFC, perhaps a 75-100shot of giggle gas for added power throw on some lightweight wheels and you should be good for near 11s, just a guess but i bet after all that you'd be close.

That probably costs like $15,000-$25,000 though.

with the right amount of money u can get the galant pushing 5's if u want. its all tp your budget. but seriously i'd look just for like 14's and such just because you might still want to maintain the street driveablity of the car.
