Okay guys I have been every where in New England and no one will install RPW hearders (or any headers) on a V6......... What is the deal?

Is it possible to do it myself without a lift? Does anyone have any ideas?
Is there are tutorial?


Please if anyone has do this themselves could they give me a tutorial explaining everything?

try looking on club 3g or try searching here by a post from TJC i think. i recall him posting alot of pictures from the install of his AMSS headers. install for RPW should be pretty much the same.

you can do it without a lift, but you are gonna need some ramps or a pair of jackstands, something to get that front end in the air. its much easier that way.

ran a lil search and read one of matt's post from when he got his headers installed. i dunno if rpw fixed the problem but he noted that the shop had to extend some pipes to get the thing to fit right. any exhaust shop should be able to do that, but they have to know where exactly to extend the pipe. maybe do a test fit so you have a better understanding where the modifications have to be and possibly take another car to the exhaust shop to get the thing extended.
