Putting the vent trim back on

I just painted the vent trim on the driver and passanger sides(the vents by the doors with the on/off roller thing). And I cannot clip these jokers back on for anything! The duct in there moves and its imposible to get my fingers in there to hold it stedy while I clip it on. WHn ei try to clip it on the duct just goes further back. I've got the vent trim in the spot but its not clipped on.

Anybody got tips on how you got your back in there?

Put the roller thing in the vent cover itself. Then snap both pieces in together. It took me about 10 tries to figure that one out...

i took pretty much everythign out except for the main ducting. put everything back together and snapped it in as one piece.
