[size=24]<span style='color:red'>WOW...</span>

This muffler has changed the entire personality of the car... what a difference with just swapping a muffler... all my life, i have always done a complete catback, header, high flow cat at the same time... but i must say that this Remus muffler sounds twice as nice as the Remus catback i had on my 92 Jetta...! Must be the V6 making it rumble like that...

Install took about an hour... pretty straight forward... cut the stock muffler up over the rear crossmember, and bent about 18" of pipe to mate up to the Remus... welded, welded a few hangers on, and voila...

I'll try and snap a pic this morning yet... i don't have the equipment to make a soundfile or i would, cause it sounds deep... at cruising speeds (60ish), you can barely hear it which is good...

The Remus gets :thumbsup::thumbsup:

looks good...bet it sounds good too...thats what my VW needs a remus. it would be nice for the galant too but two remus's on the galant would be a killer on my wallet...

that may or may not be Remus's part number... i think it is, minus the RM... i think the shop uses the RM to designate Remus...

I paid about $190 for it...

Looks just like mine https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif Except I bought the Galant specific one...ended up changing my Remus out since it was too restrictive and went with a Dynomax. I still have the Remus sitting my garage though https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Hehe free as in you pay for shipping type free? I thinks about it https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif Mine is 2 inch diameter though...it's actually smaller than stock but I guess if you like the sound...

are all remus mufflers resrictive? or just the galant specific one? i really like the design of that one, but don't want a restrictive muffler!

Only the V6 Galant specific one I believe since it wasn't designed with the U.S. spec in mind because we have the 3.0 liter 195 hp engine while the rest of the world gets the 2.5 liter engine, though there is one for the 4 cylinder and the power specs are pretty much the same there, just not sure why it doesn't fit properly...I think they're available in other sizes like every other brand. Otherwise why would Tiller have bought a restrictive exhaust? We know he's not quite that stupid https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

Which reminds me...the Galant specific one (that I bought) is NOT a straight through design. I'm not going to cut it up though to see what's inside.
