electrical problem?

ok, this is frustrating. when i brake, my stereo and radar detector turn off, then come back on. then, sometimes in the morning i turn the car on and the clock and stereo settings are reset like the batt. died. once, i put the key in, and the car wouldnt turn over. pulled the key out then tried again and it started. whats going on? thanks for the help.
p.s. i have chacked all connections and alt.

yeah i have the same problem as we speak.........i think it is the battery......it won't hold a charge. take it to an auto parts store and see if they can test it for you. i need to do that today. i have been stuck far to many times to keep putting it off.

Hey guys... What if it is the alternator? I had similar problem and the mechanic changed the alternator ---> now everithing is OK :wink:

Take this into consideration too...
