I just got a CAI off of ebay for a 00-03 eclipse. It fits ok but I'm gonna mod to make it fit better. The price was right-$125.00 shipped. I just wanna see how the $200-300 kits fit. I still can't believe people actually pay that price for 2-3 hp. Thanks.

Right there its short ram but i've had in in CAI form and it fits perfectally. And there we had to hooked on to the battery with some zip ties now its bracketed(?) to a bolt and doesn't move any.

Nice clean engine bay. Looks good. Why did you take the cai extension off? Water?

I don't have the bypass valve so, i didn't want to take that slite chance(sp?) of the engin hydrolocking, so.... I just have it like it is(the CAI pipe is in the trunk)

And it sounds louder this way too. 8)

And sucks in about 20-40 degree higher air temps than if you used your CAI extension.

Dan is that a Dreamspeed? It looks almost exactly like one if it isn't. Did the bypass valve fit right on? If so I might have to get one....

Its a polished AEM one. The bypass valve took a few minutes but with a little coating of oil, it eventually fit.

a buddy of mine sells them so i got it from him. i am not sure if he can get stuff for the i4. I usually just ask and he tells me yes or no. hit me up with a PM that way i'll remember to ask him if you'd like.
