Yo. My G has been making some nasty noises so I finally got it to the dealer over the weekend. Turns out it needs a front axle, wheel hub/bearing, sway bar links, sway bar bushings and inner tie rod ends. Parts total over $1200. That's dealer pricing though, so I'm looking around trying to find some cheap third party vendors. Any recommendations? Thanks.

YO ken. go to www.car-parts.com they have a search engine where u put your Zip code in and it will tell u all the cheap local shop where u can get the parts.

Thanks for the tips. I know you get what you pay for, and I'm willing to pay premium for some stuff, but dealer prices are just nuts. The axle and wheel hub assy they want $824 for Autozone will get me for $180 https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Yea, my miles killed my warranty rather fast. I have 110k on it heh.

Just an update.. talked to a friend who works at a Toyota dealer. He said he could probably get a discount for me since Mitsu sells cheap to other dealers (I was sorta doubtful). BTW, I was wrong about Autozone and the axle, that $180 was for the axle and the core, not the axle and the hub. The hub was another 120. Anyway.. his prices were axle $70 no core, hub $122.30, tie rod ends $42.30 each, sway bar links $15.74 each and sway bar bushings $1.10 each. York Mitsu friggin wrote me up those bushings for $35 each, those bastards!! https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif So the total is $251.44.

So the rundown (comparing only axle/hub as Autozone doesn't carry the other parts) was Mitsu $824 (ack), Autozone $300 (MUCH better), Toyota $192 (sweeeeet) https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif If anyone else needs parts and wants me to get a quote from him PM or email ([email protected]) me.
