4 to 5 Lug Conversion

What's involved and what is the price of converting a 4 lug set up to a 5 lug. I want to mount the 16 inch 8G rims on my ride.

well i am going to do this! for all i know is u need 5 lug hubs from a 1g or 2g eclipse(which is it of both?), rotors, and calipers. eclipses had 4wheel disc brakes so thats a plus. AND the biggest reason i want to swap to 5lug is the big brake kits that are made for the 1gs and 2gs

Ya go for the disc brakes, way better.

i thought there was someone out there that had already done this ???? but i cant think who..... i would like to do this also but too many things to do a to lil money... maybe i can just buy piece by piece

they sell these things also that look like metal dougnuts with bolts to bolt on to your stock lugs and give u that dfiferent patern.

cept its not as safe, ur wheels stick out, and it doesnt help u get big brakes :biggrin:

a guy on the 4g64 group did the rear drum to disc conversion...

Soo glad mine already has front & rear disc.....ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
