99 Galant Alarm

I've got the same problem. I've silenced the alarm but the headlights still blink. Happened before and after I got my Viper alarm installed. Sometimes it happens while I'm driving, Got pulled over a couple weeks ago for Impersonating an Emergency Vehicle! Need Help. I can stop it by turning the car off and locking the doors with either the key or keyless remote, but I want a more permanent fix.
