I like being notified that I locked my door, but I hate the honk. I live in an area where I feel more comfortable letting people know I have some sort of alarm.

Is there a way to hook something up to have anything else beep or something instead of your horn honking. Like finding the trigger for the honk and hooking up a PA horn and amp?

Anyone play with this at all?

If its like that.. I suggest you invest in a good aftermarket alarm..
or get a fake flashin LED or scanner.

Man get a real LED or Scanner and have it wired to your alarm.

you can get a decent alarm for pretty cheap. like as cheap as 100 bucks plus install. that will give you a nice. chirp.

yea i rem i bought alarm for my dad 4 year ago.. it Viper auto starter with Security alarm.. and it coast me mofo 700 bucks... now same system better and far more distance.. with Antena coast me 300 bucks 7 moths back.... i just check a month ago that was only 200 bucks,,, they are getting cheaper and cheaper.. and dont forget the discount in Insu....

yeah im having a clifford matrix RS3 installed. Ganna cost me a little over $730 installed (with some edxtra options that I wanted). And I forgot ALL about the insurance discount. Now im even more happy, because I can save a little b it more money that way https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Anyone have a top notch alarm and know how much they save on insurance becasue of it?

Actually there is a way to bypass that. you need to look in the mannual for the combination of buttons to press. When I had the factory alarm it used to honk and then I read the owner's manual and like I said I forgot but you have to hit some buttons on the remote and then it no longer honks but the lights still flash and the alarm is still activated.

i want somethin like led or the lil red light in the car.. cuz i dont wanna park and have my alarm goin off with someones exhaust like mine does to oterh cars ya know? i want just somethin let em know i have an alarm!!!

You probably need to customerize a standard alarm. Start with the following link... Wire one of the outputs to your desired device... Good luck...

Yea that alarm is hot, i have it on my galant. But hell is it expensive, that price tag on it is ridiculous, good thing i work at best buy and got it like 70% off https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif the install cost me more then the damned alarm. But hey im not complaining its sweet.
