question about this bezel???

can this bezel be used on a 2000 es without using the stock bezel? i know this is just an overlay but i would like it to be as close to the gauges as possible as opposed to "floating" over them.

I believe if not mistaken this can go in place of your stock bezel
as members with 02s and up purchase one of these so they can install aftermarket guages in their car as the stock 02 bezel can't be used with the guages

i thought the whole issue with the 02+ was that it didn't come with any bezel.
