I been using high temp engine paint in aluminum for the stuff I have painted on my car...it seems to match semi well

since it's the outside of your car i would go to an autobody/paint shop and have them mix the exact color for you. you can call a mitsu dealer and get your paint's color code from them. you should only need one can and it should only be about $15. since its the outside i would spend the extra couple of bucks and get the right color instead of trying to come close. and don't forget to clearcoat it.

you don't need a gun. they'll load it into a spray can for you. as long as you use multipule, light, even coats you'll have no problem. you can go to any auto parts store and get a can of clear coat to finish it off. since they are plastic pieces though you'll want to get a plastic primer or the paint could end up flaking off. so apply a nice thin coat of primer, apply about 6 or 8 thin layers of color coat, and about 3 nice thin layers of clear coat and you'll be laughing. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

I am actually in the process of sculpting new foglight bezels and grill pieces for my silver 02 GTZ. I plan on making a mold so I can produce a small number of them at least. I'm going for a smoother look on the foglights with a vent towards the back corner and on the grill I intend to open it up and make it appear deeper. Right now I am working out issues with getting the new pieces to bolt/ clip into the stock locations. Working that part is a pain in the ass............................

You can find Duplicolor at any automotive store or section at Walmart. Try this link to find what color code your car is and what can# for the paint: http://duplicolor.anthonythomas.com/match/...match_maker.cgi ('http://duplicolor.anthonythomas.com/match/match_maker.cgi') I'm planning of doing the same thing but cannot find the new Titanium Pearl color anywhere except the body shop. Hope that helps.
