Hey everyone.. I'm somewhat new so sorry for what may seem like a dumb question.. but does the back nameplate colorkeyed on the gtz like the grill? Anyone seen the Gtz in green (g41)? or what colors do gtz come in?

I don't think the GTZ ever came in green. I know they came in Dover Pearl White, Black, Red, and that new Titanium Gray. I personally wanted a beige/gold GTZ

alright.. well since theres no green gtz grill or rear nameplate like my g then I'm thinking about getting a silver gtz grill. what you guys think of that idea... I think it look sweet with my bbs silver rims and behind a future usdm bumper.. hmmm I'm not sure about the silver nameplate that might not look right. or would it?!? I'm just not into the chrome and I'm tossing around ideas to get rid of it. maybe just me but alot of chrome reminds me of my g-ma's car  I had an eclipse for 8 years and I didn't have no chrome to deal with on her but don't care for the new eclipses so this is going to be a work in progress with my new G. 8)

All of the GTZs were color keyed, whereas only the 2002 and up Galants had the color keyed rear garnish (ES and LS). I replaced my chrome garnish with the silver from a GTZ and it looked pretty cool. You can't really tell sometimes, but when you can it looks nice.

Oh i didn't know that about the 2002 es-ls. I believe the 2002 had my color so I can order my matching garnish https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif I would think the 2002 garnish/finish moulding would fit 2001...anyone know for sure?

the 2002 garnish would most likely fit but, just remember that the 02+ cars didn't have the lil hole for the key.

heck if you dnt like the color of the garnish u can always take it off and paint it or cover it with some vinyl

more than likely I will get it painted when I get my bumper and side skirts done... The dealer with a 20% discount still wants $130 for a painted one.. and I have to use the inside trunk release every time like pinoy pointed out since theres no key hole on the 2002..next Ima gonna have to change the lower exterior chrome door sills. These will come off once the door panels are off hopefully.. anyone know?
