my engine light keeps coming on so i took it to get it looked at, the guy told me that it was an O2 sensor so he reset the computer and the light went out for a while but now its back on.... so now my questions is do you guys think that the car is going to be ok when i drive it from florida to california next week ... i just dont have time to take it to the dealer

id replace it before the trip.
it probably wont cause any damage, but your milage will be in the toilet.

you mean my gas per milage?

I had my code come up for the O2 sensor too....I think. It came up and said something about bank #1.. The guy at Autozone said it was the 1st O2 sensor. Anyway, soaked the bottom end in B12 (overnight) and tapped the stuff out of the sensor (not much came out anyway). Haven't got a code yet......It's $165 from Autozone, so I am sure the dealer will ask for more, for an O2 sensor. The second O2 sensor might be a bit cheaper, but not much I'm sure. Good luck!
