Actually Close, but No that is not good- there is a specific distance that must be used

This is good:

Whoa, your driver's side should not be higher than the passenger side. It should be exactly the opposite of the way you have it.

People with JDM housings will have this problem.

Actually, the beam pattern is correct, in that it kicks up to the right. That is the correct beam pattern. But the way it is aimed, with the drivers side up high, that can be corrected with even JDMs.

thanx for everything galantv600!!! https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

well... my galant (2002 Station Wagon) does have JDM housings indeed... and I hate them!!! the lights don't illuminate more than 3 metres in front of the car, and I can't aim the headlights up as I'd like to... and the RIGHT headlight is aimed lower than the LEFT one (just like galantv600's) and I can't aim the RIGHT one upper than the LEFT one!!!!!!!

what can I do? any idea? thanx guys...

P.S: Ah, now I remember... when I aim the headlights as up as I can, the interior control is not useful anymore... I mean, I try to aim the headlights with the electronic control but I just hear that noise of something "working" but the lights stay in the same position...

Well, it's very useful indeed but my car has JDM headlights... where can I read a tutorial like that for JDMs and see the pics??? (to know what each bolt does, because JDMs have 4 bolts each headlight... and they are very tight! :x )

Well, thanks again... bye!!!

Looks like you might just have to take it back to the dealer, if oyu press a button and the lights are susposto move and they dont sounds like they need a mechanic on the job to get the motor to move the lights again.

Well, the motor WORKS indeed, but the problem is that if I aim the headlights in a different way compared to the "factory setting", the lights don't move up or down although the motor still works...

But well, I don't care about the motor, I just want to aim the headlights up, much more than the motor can do, cause if not... the headlights don't illuminate more than 3 or 5 metres in front of the car... and that's why I'm asking for the manual to aim JDM headlights, as they have 4 "beer-cover" like bolts, instead of 2 as USDM headlights have...

(my owner's manual doesn't say how to aim the headlights...)

thanks for everything... bye!

thanks man, I appreciate it anyway  https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

well, I'll show you some pics of the way my headlights illuminate... sorry about the quality, etc. but it's because the car was moving and the pics are compressed. Anyway, it's enough to see the problem I'm talking about... take a look.

you see? I'd like them to illuminate further in front of the car... I mean, in dark places where you can't use your high beams because of other cars coming from the other side, I wouldn't be able to brake on time if there was an obstacle on the way, etc.

that's all, and thanks again to everybody... bye!

Well... today I just tried to aim the headlights... I'm not pretty sure of the specific purpose for each of the 2 bolts of the highbeams, but anyway they're perfect now https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

However, the lows are a pain in the ass...
I can't aim them up enough, although I kept moving the bolt for hours!!! and it never stops moving...

I think the only option I have is buying the best bulbs I can...

bye!
