Well,
I just realized that when I installed my bremboish rotors and EBC pads a while ago I didn't break them in right and have basically screwed the rotors over and pads. I need to get new front rotors and pads.
Right now my brakes are squealing like a mofo from hot spots on the rotors and a lack of shims (I'm guessing).
In my new setup would having shims help reduce noise? Are the stock mitsu shims sold separately and would they fit in the caliper with say a Axxis setup? If I get a high quality pad do I even have to worry about shims?
I was thinking something along the lines of a DBA slotted / Axxis organic setup.
I basically want to be able to stop solid.
Anyone have some asvise on proper pad/rotor brake in? This I def. didn't do right last time.
