7G Engine

ok well what happined is I have a 7G and the balanced shaft belt snaped bent 13 out of 16 values, what I was wondering is, is the motor the same in a 93 model as in a 95.

This might be best asked in the 'performance' section so the 7G [1993 on] see it too !

So far as I know they changed the engines for the 7G, but it might help if you told us what engine you have at the moment ? the code should be on the VIN-plate somewhere

I dont think so. I believe 94-97 are the 2.4L SOHC engine. The earlier were 2.0 DOHC engines. Best bet is call a mitsu dealer and ask the service manager! (I had the same belt snap and it fucked up my engine too! I feel for ya!)

evil-G-nius (aka Kimya) your right the 7g is a 2.4 (mostly SOHC except the GS :shock: ) and 6g r 2.0
