back seat coming down

My back seat will not fold down. I have tried and tried to get it to come down. It is not locked at the lock in the center is there another lock somewhere in the trunk or does anyone know what i can try to get it to come down. I really need to have it come down. Thanks for any help in advance

maybe you should stop trying to fit the bodies in your trunk and borrow a truck or something. there's only one latch you have to pull, and its on right side of the car, if you were to be sitting in it, yeah, the right side. also, make sure you get your key and unlock the rear seat, set it to off, its right in the middle on the top, you'll see the keyhole. set that to off, and pull the latch, if that doesn't work, something is stuck. try to revive one of the bodies in the trunk and get them to start kicking at the rear seat. if that doesn't work, just give me your car.

Very funnny lol https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif yea i turned the key in it and pulled on the lever on the right side, even had my buddy work on it, we had no luck. we discovered it when we were trying to remove the rack the stock cd changer was on.

the rear seat conversion from SOLID to fold down isnt that easy

u will need

3 parts for the rear seat

all screws and clips,

u will have ot break out the center hook from the frame where ur OEM non folding seat was

plastic backing so u dont see the metal when u fold ur seat

and lastly, 2 mounting plates for the seat center that holds it to teh frame of the car when folded...these plates are WELDED to the car, so if u cant get them u'll have to line up and make ur own, I got my seats in, but i have yet to do this part due to being afraid of drilling into something i aint supposed to

well while i was cleaning my car out today, and getting ready to give it a wash i thought i would try again to get my back seat to come down ( see the plastic clip that was on the lever was broken off ) well this time when trying to put back on and trying to get it to come foward i was successful. I finally have my seat coming foward, thank god for that.
