Can not start in the morning, 60-70F, but can start in the afternoon, 70-90 F. Need the car to go to work, DO not want to spend over 200$ for this old car. Please advise me. What is the prolem?

New battery. can drive very well in the warm afternoon, but will not start in the early cool morning.

One of my friend said maybe the"cold start temperature sensor", could not find it. Where is this?

Thanks.

not too sure about that but it could be a fuel pump

it could be a HUNDRED different things.

does it not crank, or not start?
does it lack spark?
does it lack fuel pressure?
does it lack injector pulse?

im afraid being as vauge as you were isnt going to help. you need to be precise and thorough in your explination.

Check your throttle body and maybe the IAC is bad or the TPS. Worked for me and i had the same problem.

It cranks, can hear the cranks, but will not start.
Spark is OK.
DO not know how to measure the fuel pressure.
DO not know how to get the injector pulse.

I do not want to be vauge, but just do not know anything, do know how to do. Please give me your advice.

It works normal in the afternoon! Just not the morning. If it is warm in the morning, it still can start and runs well.

Many thanks.

well if it cranks, you get spark, and all that good stuff... then id be willing to bet it is a fuel problem and most likely the fuel pump. have it checked out
