Double din?

I got a 8g Es.. Tonight I was eyeing the area where I was going to install my cd player and I noticed the same knobs in the back that stick out an hold our cd player are in the bottom slot also. Has anyone used these for there EQ? (full din) If so can I get another bracket like the one holding my cd player or is there another one made for that? Thanks Chad

if your talkin about the slot below your a/c controls and stereo, yes...thats where i have my EQ installed. The EQ i have fit perfectly in that slot so the guy just cut out the back of the plastic slot and ran the wires threw there. im not to sure how the EQ is attached to the plastic in the slot tho.

I just tried the factory bracket and it lines up with the rubber knobs! but of course theres no screw in the back like the top... Still theres the 2 tabs in the front so that keep it from sliding forward.. cool now I can get a regular DIN eq rather than a face w/ a seperate brain.
