Only 2 Quarts???

I just changed my tranni fluid in a 92 GS. Only about 2.3 quarts came out!!?? I was shocked it was so little! Is this right?

So I simply replaced it with new and presto drives great!

I just can't believe there was so little fluid in the tranni. The auto parts place said around 4 quarts.... :?:

did u just drain and fill or did u get it flushed out. that does seem a lil low. maybe if u drained and filled, u didn't get all the old fluid out. flushing it will do the trick

Yea, just drained and filled.... didn't flush (not that motivated)... still shifts a bit better though... been a good car :wink:
