IAT, intake air temperature sensor. uhm guessing you got one of them cheap ebay chip mods?? them useless pieces of junk.

if not, uhm check out the MAS. that the thing that gets all the readings from the air

you stick the resistor in the MAS.

o... ok
so im guessing i jus disconnect the entire MAS
but then which holes do i put the resistor in?

do NOT mod or alter the resistance for the IAT sensor.
it will do NOTHING for your performance.

Want beter performance by having lower air temps...then ACTUALLY LOWER THE TEMP rather then making the car think the temp is lower, it isnt going to do anything for you. Make a cai you'll pull air temps a few degress lower then whatever the air temp is outside at low crusing speed. Air temps from a shortram or stock setup are around 120+ very bad compared to a nice 75 from a cai =D

Colder air is denser and burns more wich yields more power

and i plan on putting in a cai
but for now... can someone please tell me were the IAT sensor is?

You dont need to know wheere the actual sensor element is, you need to know which wire to tap on the MAF connector to install the resistor. You shouldnt be screwin around with this if you really dont know what your doin, MAF are expensive piece if u blow it up.
