Who has JE psitons on their ride installed. Got mine installed and they are sticking out of the block, 1/4 inch . Need help. Please read more info in my "THERE GOES MY TURBO " thread...
If someone has them installed already, please contact me ASAP.
Really need help on that one. Thank u all.
Who makes thicker head gaskets for 4g64?

did you get new rods too. I was under the impresion that JE pistons required new rods.

I know nothing about these pistons. Are these supposed to be better for your turbo? Or approved for turbos? (I'm assuming pretty much anything besides stock is better, right?)

I have looked on the JE website and can only find
pistons for 4g63 engine not the 4g64 engine

isnt 4g63 2.0
4g64 2.3
So did they send you the right pistons and rods

they ar e custom made(that is why they are not listed on their web, low compresion (8.5 = good for turbo), forged pistons. For those who don't know, our cars have 9.5 compression, so pistons generally they are not good for turbo (not so great) . One of my piston melted (due to running too hot spark plugs) , that is why i went with JE low compression ones,....
