those with JDM headlights

hey guys, I was just curious, I have the 1 piece JDM headlights (not installed yet), and I know they are H7 low H1 hi beams, but my question is, do I have to have 2 HID kits? 1 for H7 and H1? cuz what I was thinking was having H7 HID kit and then a regular H1 bulbs for the Hi beams, but I was told that i need 2 HID kits to operate properly with the headlights, is that true??

please tell me how everything can be hooked up either way and which is the best way or which is most recommended, thanks

I have HID only in my H7 low beams, and they work fine.

yeah you don't need both... in fact RONIN is runnin HID only on his H1 hi's and regular H7 for his lows. actually i might b the only one w/ both.

but when ur ready to install, hit me up and i'll give you the wiring info to bridge your hi and low beams (diode trick) so that your low beams will stay on when you hit your brights.

yeah i need to clean that stuff up! but what sillyasianz saw was 4 ballasts, my color shift swtches for the low beams, bridging diodes links, and a whole custom wiring network w/ wire loom and relays that bypass the OE wiring directly to the battery (i went a little crazy w/ my rewire). so yeah it is kinda messy since i am running almost 150 feet of wiring just for my headlights.
