with all these muffler questions coming up, and how everyone doesn't want a typical rice cannon, i extracted the sound portion of me racing around up at palomar mountain by san diego. check my website in a few weeks for the actual movie (AWESOME shit) but here's where i got my muffler:

just CAI which does affect the muffler's sound and overall sound heard, and that muffler.

it is, and maroonmonster7G, it did, but only barely. i can pick up the highway slightly better, and the sound...i can't get over it.

sounds too much like a racer........anyone know where to get a muffler thats a little quieter and deeper??? i aint with that fast and tha fiurious shit

of course it would...i was racing. the first 3 seconds or so was me just slowly going off from a start

i dont think its possible to get quieter and deeper at the same time... if you want deeper its gonna get louder....

Not necessarily true! My Remus is quiet at most speeds, but when I floor it it gives a deep tone. At idle you dont even know the car is eve on

do you have a resonator? or a cat? those 2 will effect noise BIG Time

no, i just got it welded professionally at an exhaust shop

when they took it off the muffler was like the muffler plus alittle bit of liek piping to where it was connected right?

Um and another thing if i like bring a hi flow cat headers and the muffler to a muffler place like midus or some shabizzle they will put it on?

yes, the stock muffler has about 2 feet of piping, connected to a flange, that flange bolts to the other flange, and thats the rest of your exhaust.

and about getting it installed, thats hard to say. i went to a couple muffler "repair" places and they wouldn't install my muffler because it was aftermarket. if you're like me, and live in the middle of non-car-tuner county, just open the phone book and start calling. just look for a custom metal shop or arc welder's place.
