Is it possible to buy this charger part and put it on an 03 es g?
I see the evo's are 4 cyl's so probably not, or possible after all?

Well anything is possible with the right amount of time, knowledge, and tools. So theoretically it is possible (I think). Though Im not sure what the benefit of using the Evo turbo is (maybe the twin scroll?). I suggest you just get a Supercharger from RIPPS.

BTW He's about throw a HUGE sale, supposedly bigger than any sale so far. Heres the link if your intrested:

It's a big 16g, i believe. Just the same as bolting up any other custom turbo kit.

good luck, the evoIV has been flipped 180 degrees, so on your car the turbine housing would be back words...i own an eclipse gsx, go to the dsmtalk.com to learn more about it, but, the evo III turbo would fit w/ the 4g63 exhaust mani and of course custom intercooler and piping...if your intrested go to http://www.forcedperformance.net/ ('http://www.forcedperformance.net/') for the best, thats where i'm getting my evo III turbo for my gsx here real soon...they have the best, and lowest prices, and best customer support. but that is your best bet. The evo IV and up will not work, unless your rich...cause the 8g galant and my eclipse both have the exhaust mani is in the front, the evo IV is in the back by the firewall. (from what i have heard on dsmtalk.com) which is a good site to see...to gain more info on the mistu engines.

What model EVO is the turbo from ??? If its off an EVO 8, its a twin scroll 16g turbo. To get that on your G, you need either an EVO 3 or 2nd generation eclipse GST/GSX exhaust manifold and gasket. It bolts up on our cars. Then your gonna need to run oil lines and an intercooler with piping. Not to mention your gonna need bigger fuel injectors, a FPR and a fuel pump to feed your newly turbocharged motor. But it can be done, and its easier than you think.

well, if you get that to fit, congrats...you need the evo 3 and lower turbo to "bolt up" to a 4g63 exhaust mani on your engine....i'm tellin ya, go to the dsmtalk.com and search for the evo 8 turbo on a dsm (the dsm and 8g galant have the same blocks i believe with different crank, rods and pistons and such...but they both face the same way), all threads dealing with that were usually closed, cause it will not work...but see for yourself i guess.

You know what, Silver 8g ES is right about the turbine housing, your turbo would be sucking instead of blowing.....thats not good. Let me look into it a big and see if I can get you an answer. Hopefully Clay will read this im pretty sure he had the same problem.

thanks, but seriously i'm telling you it won't work, unless your rich, but why not spend less and get more or the same...sounds good to me, get the evo III and you will be happy trust me, i'm getting it for my dsm, and i still think its too much, but its cheap, so oh well. lol more power for less, sounds good to me.

here read this: http://dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t...threadid=102717 ('http://dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=102717') maybe that will convince you on this, and you have a 2.4, so the lag will be much less too...better deal IMO.

I was just reading one of Clay's posts about the same problem. And it was the EVO 5 twin scroll turbo/manifold he as dealing with. Im pretty sure you can get a a 2g GST/GSX manifold and a 16g turbo and it will work. But im still not sure about the EVO turbo, again, what model EVO is it from ?
