View Full Version : side door moldings come off???

(side door moldings) just wondering has anyone taken these off and seen if its just like shaving the rear emblems??? cuz i wanna do something with my doors,and just wanted to see if they just come off like any other emblem/trim.....without damage underneath...

do you have the strip of molding or the half door molding? i took my molding off. i have the half door kind. i put it right back on, cuz there was an indent, where the lower trim strip would go, and a looooooootta holes, lol. but its just clips and some sticky stuff. if you take it off, you can pop em back on no problem.

yeah, i'm pretty sure there will be a slight indent where the molding goes, and the holes, prolly about every 6-12 inches apart https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif and some sticky stuffs.

Yeah there is an indent. If you wanna shave them, your gonna have to fill it in, sand, prime and paint. alot of time and effort that isnt worth the trouble.

yea i know there will be an indent,,,but u guys sure there are holes there?????on the non-gtz moldings???
