I just called the company that does the aftermarket sunroofs for my Mitsu dealer. They quoted me $1295.00 for a oem power sun roof. Is this a fair price or should it cost less. They give a 5yr/50,000 mile waranty on the motor in the sunroof and lifetime waranty on leaks.

50,000 MILES traveling in the car, or 50,000 miles of pushing the button??

and I would say thats a pretty average estimate.

i got a quote around that price .... but i dont know a reasonable price.... im looking foward to gettin a sunroof...but i am afraid of having problems with it !

I think the guy said for 50,000 miles of the car running. Im gonna look into this some more before I have it done. $1200 is too much money for me to just blow and plus he said they would have my car for 2 days so I will have to do it when Im on my vacation.

i have an aftermarket sunroof installed via my dealership, and i have no problems but it cost about $1500.00.

I think Im gonna go ahead and get this spring. Winter is coming now so no need for it here in Chi-Town.

Paid $1050 for mine. 5 year warranty shop does the aftermarket installation for the dealers in the So. Cal area. I'm happy with the product, looks factory.

Can someone post pictures of their after market sunroofs? I paid around $1000 for an extended warranty on my car, I think I would rather put that money toward a sunroof.

any one know if a slidin rag top would work on our car???

ilike those way more than sun roofs

i think they might be cheeper too???

cut a hole in the roof, wire it up. I have an aftermarket sunroof in my lancer from the dealer. I can take pics tomorrow.

it would depend on the workmanship, not on the fact that it is aftermarket
