is there anyway of getin a new gas door thing cuz i dun like having mine wit no lock... i wanna get one that u push the button inside and it opens... hook me up!!! thanks

I dont think there is a way to make the gas door open with the push of an interior button, unless you got the mechanism from maybe a mazda or something like that. Youre best bet is to maybe check out a junkyard and get the parts and just experiment.

Has anyone tried hooking up a mini solenoid and popper to the gas door? I know that people have done it on their doors if they shaved the handles but I image it would work on the gas door too. Plus you could open it with a remote.

Biggest challenge is attaching locking mechanism to the door itself
