Which engine and trans. or gearbox can fit into my 7G without moving engine mounts and minimal other work? (Tired of repairing old trans. so decided to upgrade. Came with SOHC 2.0 Carburated,)

what year? i thought all 7gs were 2.4 L except in japan...

Year is late '96. This 7G is from Japan, bought in Trinidad so its right hand drive

a 96 modle carbarated 2.0 that is a new one on me. but try just a regular 4g64(2.4) should fit.

What is the number on the trans, what condition is it in, (has it ever been repaired, how long was it used) and what price?

its not about being ripped off. a few trans i've checked can't work up. the number has to be exact or at least very close.
