do i need a pipe for my intake?????

i have an intake but its just the filter and like a mouting thing is this enough???? or do i need that pipe that i see on a lot of different cars?? i have a 95 galant by the way.

you don't need it. but a good mandrel bent pipe would give better airflow characteristics than the oem pipe.
