I was thinking about getting a body kit for my 99. But I prolly wont do anything else to it. I have a system, but im not going to mess with anything under the hood. Would that be dumb to just have a bodykit and a system? Its a automatic also. I might add some streetglow, but otha than that i want to leave it the way it is.

meh...i have no wish to make my car fast. i knew goin in that it was not a fast car...rather a damn nice lookin car. it CAN be a nice car but so can any car provided you got the $$$$.

but you can't get a kit without new wheels. that'd look lame. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

forget teh wheels, if you got factory alloys that is. you should at least drop it first if you have the alloys. then move up to getting new wheels. drop first. IMO. at least with the steelies, you can pop off the hubcaps and get that go-hard look going on lol

The "go hard look", or is the "hard up look"? https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif I can't count how many Civics are buzzing and farting around my town with factory rims w/ no hubcaps. I just don't get it. You can get a set of cheap used rims off Ebay for about what a set of tires cost. Anything is better than the steel rims. Except maybe some half moon hubcaps. Ack! https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

Who's gonna attract more girls, the person with the fast car, or the person with the hot car. After you make it hot, you can make it fast as hell too. And PLEASE, get rims before you get the body kit, there is nothing worse than that. Rims, Drop, Body Kit. Good Luck.

Get rims and drop at the same time. Then kit.

I would definitly drop the car if you get rims. Specially if you get bigger rims. I drove my car for about 2 months with 18" rims and no drop and it looked like I put a lift kit on the car. I would have to agree with supernova on this.....Rims and Drop, then Kit.

Yeah, that's where I'm at now. 18's and no drop. Looks good until you see a pic of a dropped G. Oh well, I'll get there one day. Also, I think someone ran into the problem of using dropped springs and then when they went to put on the bodykit it was too low for the side skirts. So if you really want to do a body kit, I'd spend the extra cash on adjustable coil-overs so you can drop it however much you need. Just a thought...

well. Im goin only for looks.

I have 15in rims, but they are alloyed, dont look that bad, way better than hubs.

I got my kit, and my EVO hood. And a drop. So im more than 1/2 way there.

Rims are after the winter, i find it dumb to get rims now knowing in about a month i have to take them off b/c of the snow.

so for XMAS a set of 18s ADR SZ-1

PS Wat do u think does it sound bad. You can check out the rims on my "www"
