Here's a good one. I need suggestions on where to mount an iPAQ. I use it for navigation/wardriving.

I'd like it to be "flush" somewhere, or atleast somewhere that looks nice.

I have used one of these and I don't really like it, so I'm asking for suggestions.

Look into getting a Panavise mount for you car. Here is a link on what it will look like in your car. You can mount your cradle to this bracket without the whole extension or gooseneck look. I dunno if this is what your looking for, but a possibility.

hmm, never thought of that. That's a good idea, using the cradle without the gooseneck.

Now just where to put it...

Here's what is attached:

PS2 Connector that goes to the GPS receiver on the dashboard.
Power Connector that goes to the 12V accessory port.

Here's a picture of the panavise solution, I think I'm going to go that route... I called a local reseller, it's available for $15 with shipping.

Technically that's what I was looking to do, but It's probably not in the cards unless someone can give some insight on how to do so :-)

If you aren't using the bottom cubby where your stock CD changer used to be, 99G-or up i think, why not make a shelf system that you can pull out of the cubby and it'll sit at an angle and then when you don't need it push it back in. Sorry no pics just a random thought in my head. But you know how people have those amp shelfs that are motorised and come out try something like that so the Nav piece will come out of the cubby and angle itself to viewing height.
