My friend just got his saturn repainted (go figure) from maaco. I must say, i had my doubts on what kinda job they would, but it actually looks pretty professional, and its got a nice shine to it. I dont know how long its going to last, but it looks really good for $550 bucks.

well I had my 626 ........ ( I miss it) but anyway maaco painted my car and I loved it. Until it started pilling off...I took it back and they redid the job but the paint didin't want to stick....so finally I went to a different maaco and they told me they didn't prime the car before they painted it....I was pissed.... . So from now on I take my car to someone else ( if I need it painted) and spend some loot to make it look right the first time....just my .02  ( thanks for listening...good bye)

Maaco = SHIT, never paint a car with them, they do a nasty crappy paint job, and when some kind of repair/refinish job is required, thats the worst part...

a "good" paint job would cost more than $1500 and entail leaving the car at the shop for at least 2 weeks.

I had Earl paint my NX. It cost about $500 including the door jambs and t-top jambs. It actually looks pretty decent. I hated the white color on the car. I like the blue much better. It has been 2 years and the paint still looks pretty decent. There are some spots where stone chips have made the paint flake off but they aren't too noticable.

6 years ago i had my trucks front end redone at Maaco and that was probably the worst paint job i ever saw. The front edge on the hood was almost unpainted. The paint was thin, the fender wasn't fitted properly. Worst place i ever went to. I would highly recommend anyone here to avoid Maaco.
