I guess as long as the car isn't tripping any codes or flashing lights I shouldn't be concerned...but I just got 27.3181944 miles per gallon in my V6 driving mostly stop and go in the morning and local city driving in the afternoon.

Damn Peter, and I'm happy I'm consistently getting 23MPG with all my mods. I'm jealous....

Shoot you guys may be jealous now, but if my converter fails or something else major are you still going to envy me?

ok, so enjoy the high gas milage while it last and start saving for a new convertor. Problem solved before it became one. HA.

My question although its a little off topic is why stock an i4 doesn't get the gas milage that mitsu says it should. I have done mods since then and have actually increased a little bit. 4 cylinders are suppose to be gas economical.

Well, for one thing, the stated mpg is rated at 55mpg - how ofter do you drive the hwy at 55? The faster you go over that, the lower mileage you'll see. Closest I came on a long drive was 25.7 mpg - which, surprisingly was a 3 hr drive at 74mph....

ROFL I think you have the wrong brand of car in mind buddy https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif Either that or you meant to say 55 mph.
