my G is runing 9psi full boost is that about normal?

im about to install the boost controller so its all stock right now

10.5 is full boost stock, if the ecu pulls boost/timing because of knock, first step is 8 lbs, i think next step is 4 lbs. perhaps your boost gauge is not accurate, or, your turbo is whacked. ALL 14b turbos on the vr4 by this time suffer from severe cracking, especially around the waste gate flapper, so boost will leak.
