well ive seen that cwest kit for the evo and just liked it ,,especially that ram air it has between the lights,,, http://www.c-west.co.jp/aero/evo8/img/fb2.jpg i started working on one for my car with fiberglass,, im just starting to lay fiberglass so im not even halfway done with it,,,i also started making some splitters,,,,which im gonna wrap in carbon fiber when im done fibrglassing.....tell me what u guys thiunk?? the vent aims air directly into the stock ram air intake..the pics are with only 1 layer of fiberglass,,,i have to do more

the splitters are stenciled from the shogun kit....

this is with a couple of more layers of fiberglass,,,it hangs down a bit cuz its not bolted on yet,,,

I think the final project will be hot - the only problem I see is with water - how do you plan to divert rain at hwy speeds?

i dont think that will be a p[roblem,,,,,,,,the filter will still be where it is,,,its just the air will finally hit the stock plastic ram it comes with oem...its very in there and i dont think rain will reach it..

it gives the car a new look, i like it. i think you should probably put some more thought into water reaching the intake because the mouth to the stock intake is behind the hood, this is right in front of the car.

hopefuylly i wont have any problems with the water...if i do then that was alot of fiberglass wasted... :x :x :x ... this crap itches!

if you worried about water in the intake then get a bipass . after i put my evo hood on i never put the weather stipping back on, i live in maryland and we have gotton 4 inches of rain in the past week and no probs here it has let more air in

cencee if you mass produce these and they look clean i want one
