Hazard switch

I was wondering if anyone has tried to paint the hazard switch on the dash so it was a light up diamond star emblem? If so how did it turn out? :twisted:

its not gonna be as simple as paitning it. if you were just to paint the diamond on there, the only place it would light up is where the light from the hazzard switch came out of. if you really wanted it to light up a diamond, you'd have to take apart the switch and pretty much remake the switch so that the light would shine out as a diamond.

it'd be small but possible - u could take out switch and use an exacto knife to cut out the diamond emblem - then get some kinda small piece of clear plastic (your choice of color) and attach it into the back of the cut switch cover - probably wouldn't be hard at all - i might try it if i ever get some time - if some one does it post pics i wanna see

i'd get a spare one from a junkyard incase it doesnt work out - after looking at it it may be harder than you expect - you're gonna have to essentially reamke the swith like pinoy said
