im new to the board, i got a 7G and i have a concept to make lambo doors without buying the kit. im thinkin if i use the shocks used to open the backs of suv's and weld them to the hinges and do some other mod's it might work. anyone got any thoguhts on this?

dunno, but lambo doors on a 4dr vehicle :scary:

wouldn't the shocks block you from getting into and out of the vehicle?

im plannin on puttin the shocks where the stock hinges are so they shouldent get in the way. im still contemplating exactly where everything should go but if i can find a way to balance it out so the door stays open it should work fine...i hope

and about the 4 dr. thing, i was skeptical about it to but i seen a pic of suicide doors that kind of angled upwards and i think it would look good with suicide in the rear and lambo for the front, but thats just my opinion.

Thats crazy nearly $3000 for that, i would never pay that much for lambo doors :shock: :?,

rather have SC or TURBO. :twisted:

i've seen a sweet ass custom job done on a (and odnt hate me) civic. as for the lambo door and suicide rear door, thats whta i wanna do. as for the civic w/ lambo doors, he only paid(i believe) $500 for the hinges and his best friend did the install for free, i wish hes bestfriend was my bestfriend, lol

i helped do an install on a ford focus its not hard just making the wires longer so the door can swing
