E-Brake wont light up

well, for a few weeks now, when i put my car in park, and pull up on the e-brake, the light wont show up on my cluster. the light work, because when i have the car on "acc" it turns on, im not sure what it can be, maybe something is oose. and the e-brakes do lock when i pull the e-brake handle up. the liht just doesnt turn on

Your parking brake switch sounds like its bad. Its about a $20 part...depending on what Mitsu dealership you go to.
