Mod wise my only real intention was to buy a set of 18" chrome wheels for it and that was it, next thing you know im buying coilover sleeves, doing the flip trunk mod, exhaust and everything I could do to shine up the engine bay. So that's pretty much when I got hooked on modding cars.

I lost that car in Dec. 03 in a freak accident when it was parked on a corner in front of my sister-n-law's house in Queens. Pretty much a NYPD squad car came speeding down the ave and crashed into my car then into a house. Supposedly another car blew the stop sign on the cross street I was parked at so he swerved out of the way to avoid that car and the rest is history.

I bought another 8g a few months later and started all over again, same color and everything. Fast forward to around 08' I started doing track days with a stock 8g aside from coilovers and 5spd swap then eventually took it off the road to do the engine swap. In the mean time I used my e90 for track days for seat time.

Definetly had my ups and downs with this car and I could go on and on about problems we had building this thing but in the end it was worth it. Sometimes I get funny looks at the track with this car, I've even had a couple of people ask me if its a vr4 lol! That's the fun of having something a little different at the track.

Up next is to finish gutting the car, things like hvac, radio, airbags and plugging the sunroof. Basically prepping everything for the roll cage and fixed back seats to be installed this winter, then more and more seat time. My goal is to do some time trial sessions when I get the advanced level and basically just have fun with it.

Big shout outs to my boy Brian (Stewi) who built the top end and did the wiring and just basically a phone call away when I ever I need help. Also big ups to all my TGC's homies Ive met over the years like Denver, JD, Roman, Creg, Greg from MD and a bunch of the old TGCNY crew that aint around no more like Pedro, Dominican Rich, Rich from the BX, Galant Kev from the BX and the one from Queens.
