September 2014 COTM Winner - 98mgalant

I am truly grateful to anyone that voted for the car and to MKO for the nomination. I have wanted to be car of the month since I first started modding the cars. I have lots of plans for the car in the future. So stay tuned.

As many of you know this isn't my first Galant. I bought my first Galant back in 2007. It was my first car. I instantly fell in love with that car and knew that I would be keeping it around for a while. Sadly that car had some frame damage from the previous owner and as I got older I didn't feel comfortable putting so much money into it. So I started the search for another 7g.

One day while searching Craigslist for the perfect 7g Galant I stumble upon the perfect car for me. I went to the dealer, saw it in person and knew that I had to have it. So I bought it. Not for asking price though. They didn't want it on their lot because it was a trade in so I took advantage of that and talked them down $1500. I drove across the street to get gas for the 150+ mile trip home and it wouldn't start. I was so mad but it turns out it was just the battery. So far this car has never left me stranded.
