The 1st Problems

After I bought my Galant first thing I had to do was put new brake pads and rotors up front. The back didn't need it after we checked them over (my dad and I). This was a HAVE to do kind of thing since you could feel the vibrations bad when you were braking. Either right before that or right after I had put new tires on it all around since they were either bald or dry rotted. It was becoming rather obvious at this point that the person who owned the car before me didn't take very good care of the car. Of course I did an oil change right away as well since I can't even describe how black it was.

Well I had bought this car on 2/28/2010. On 5/30/2010 my car completely died as I was driving it and was getting no spark what so ever. It took a while for me to figure out exactly what was wrong with my car, but I had to spend over $300 to replace the distributor/rotor (figured I would do both at the same time but the old rotor was just fine). It took a month for me to figure that out. For a month my car sat and I had no idea how to fix it. I was afraid I had just put a shit load of money into a car for it to just be done for right there.

These were the first problems, all within the first 4 months.
