Well guys i took my car to the mechanic to have the timing belt changed. My mechanic whos pretty good at what he does noticed that the car was not iddleling well after he changed the timing belt, it kept on going up and down 200rpms.
He decides to check the spark plugs and finds water on two of my plugs, so he wipes them clean and puts them back on and sees that its still iddleling funny.
Well he decides to check the compression on my pistons and finds out that piston 1 and 2 are both real low on compressing compared to what they are supposed to be. He decides to take the head off the engine block and finds out that three of the four pistons have water in them, looks like the headgasket went or something and water got into the pistons.
He takes the head to be rebuilt and cleans out the engine and fixes the problem but now that i have the car back its makes a weird noice.
My car kind of grows as the rpms go up, i dont know whats up i check the engine and it iddles fine steady at 1000rps and doesnt make any noice but when i put her in gear and i start to drive off it growls and gets louder as the rpms go up and it bothers me cause the engine never made that growling noice. I got the car back on friday and i am waiting on monday to come cause i want to take the car back to the mechanic to ask him whats making that noice.
Guys what can you think causes this noice.
