Reading and Flashing the Evo Ecu

Ive been searching but cant find a solid answer. I swapped an Evo motor over to my car w/ the boomslang for the Evo ECU conversion. Problem is I cant read or flash the ECU. Ive contacted Boomslang and they're telling me that this is a common issue they cant resolve.

Well hell if I would have know that I would have just wired it myself!!!! So how are you guys flashing your ECU's?

Things Ive already tried:

A different ECU
A Different Tatrix 1.3 cable
Making sure the batterey has plenty of charge
Re-installing ECU Flash & Evo Scan

Please help!!
