I own an '04 Galant, and the outlet inside the arm rest is not working. I bought the car about a month ago, and the outlet has never worked. Looked through the owners manual to see what fuse it is tied to, but it only lists 1 fuse for "power outlet", but yet the Galant has 2 outlets, and the other one still works fine.
Where can I find the fuse for the outlet in the arm rest? Could the outlet itself be fried or something, and can I replace that myself?
It uses the same fuse. The outlet is burn. Take it apart and resolder the 1cm wire in the back. Supposedly should be 90degree. Or you can replace it.
Replace it myself, or take it somewhere to have it replaced? I'm not handy enough to solder anything like that.Quote:

That outlet will work. You have to remove the whole center console.
Starting with the two on the outside of each side of the arm rest? I noticed that like right next to the female end of the seat belt, there is a big screw on each side. I suppose I remove those first?Quote:
